If the inside or outside camera has an error, is offline, is unreachable or not responding, below are steps the steps to troubleshoot your linxCam.

Troubleshooting Steps
- Confirm the camera is activated with it's serial number (this is located directly on the camera hardware and on the individual box it arrived in), confirm it's assigned to a vehicle (gps tracker) and confirm it's been installed/connected to power properly for at least 60 minutes.
- When the vehicle engine is on and running, check the green light to confirm the camera is receiving power.
NOTE: The linxCam has 3 power connection points.
- The barrel connector closest to the camera that connects to the power cable.
- The barrel connector closest to the G-Sensor where the OBD or Hardware Power Connector are attached.
- The Power Connector attachment point to the vehicle.
- For OBD devices, this is the OBD port.
- For hardwired devices, this will be where red (constant power), orange (switched ignition), and black (ground) wires are connected.
- If the camera DOES have a green light while vehicle ignition is on, power cycle the camera by disconnecting and removing it from power until this light goes out before reconnecting.
- This can take about 2-5 minutes to complete.
- If the camera does NOT have a green light and is not receiving power, install the camera in a different, available vehicle and confirm whether the light comes on and camera comes back online.
- If the camera comes back online in the second vehicle, this suggests that potentially the power cable or wiring connection needs to be replaced. Contact the Linxup Support department or contact your assigned Customer Success Specialist (if applicable).
- If your camera remains offline after all these steps above, please contact the Linxup Support Department.
